Our yoga school is situated in the picturesque neighborhood of Tapovan in Rishikesh, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Himalayan mountains and the holy river Ganges. Our goal at Omkar Yoga Shala is to help students deepen their understanding and practice of yoga and become certified yoga teachers.

We have highly experienced and qualified yoga instructors who provide personalized attention and guidance to each student. Our curriculum includes traditional Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga styles, as well as meditation and pranayama techniques.

The Curriculam

At Omkar Yoga Shala, courses inclusive of relevant and comprehensive subjects to Yoga path such as Philosophy of Yoga, Ayurveda – the sister science of yoga, Yoga Teaching Methods, Yoga Anatomy, nutrition, and Yogic Diet, Asana with proper alignment, Pranayam, Meditation, Shatkarma – cleansing techniques, Satsang and Mantra chanting.

The typical time to start classes is 06 in the morning and goes up to 07 in the evening. Every day, each student attend all classes which comprise 7 hours a day. Classes will be from Monday to Saturday, and Sunday will be your rest day.
