Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Omkar Yoga Shala. By registering for our yoga teacher training courses, retreats, or workshops, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any payments.

Registration & Fees

A non-refundable registration fee of USD 200 is required to secure your spot in any of our courses.
The remaining balance of the course fee must be paid upon arrival at the school before the start of the program.
Your enrollment will only be confirmed once we receive the registration fee.

Refund & Transfer Policy

The USD 200 registration fee is non-refundable
If you are unable to attend your selected course, you may transfer your registration to a future course within 12 months (1 year) of your original booking.
If you cannot join due to a valid reason (such as a medical emergency, accident, or serious incident), a refund of the registration fee may be considered after verification of documents or proof of the situation.
If you fail to join the course without notice or valid reason, the registration fee will be forfeited.
In the unlikely event that Omkar Yoga Shala cancels a course, you will receive a 100% refund of the registration fee. We will provide at least 1 month’s advance notice in such cases.

Course Changes & Cancellations

Omkar Yoga Shala reserves the right to change the schedule, teacher lineup, or course structure if necessary.
In case of force majeure events (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics), the course may be rescheduled, and registrations will be transferred to future available dates.
We are not responsible for any travel, visa, flight, or accommodation expenses incurred due to cancellation or rescheduling.

Student Responsibilities

Students must have a basic level of physical and mental health to participate in yoga teacher training.
You are responsible for obtaining a valid visa and necessary travel documents.
You are expected to follow the school rules, maintain discipline, and respect teachers, staff, and fellow students.
The use of drugs, alcohol, or any form of misconduct during the course is strictly prohibited and may result in dismissal without refund.

Liability Disclaimer

By enrolling, you acknowledge that yoga involves physical activity and you participate at your own risk.
Omkar Yoga Shala is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during your stay.
Students are encouraged to have personal health and travel insurance before joining the course.

Privacy Policy

Your personal details provided during registration will be kept confidential and used only for administrative purposes.
We may use photographs or videos taken during the course for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing beforehand.

Omkar Yoga Shala is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga school located in Rishikesh, India, offering, 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training programs. These programs cover traditional Hatha and Ashtanga yoga styles, as well as meditation, pranayama, and yoga philosophy. The school provides accommodation and meals for students, and graduates receive internationally recognized yoga teacher certifications.
